New Ilford Metallic Gloss

Okay, we have to admit that we’re not really fans of metallic media – it comes from being spoilt by having Cibachrome to print on for so many years. This media is as close to Cibachrome as we’ve seen. It gives an image depth, beautiful saturation, and no real Bronzing. After printing the Quattro Challenge exhibition on the Ilford Metallic Gloss, with all the different tonal ranges and colours, almost every image benefited from being printed on this new media. ILFORD GALERIE Prestige Metallic Gloss offers photographers the ability to print images with a true ‘wow’ factor. The iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look, ensuring that each print truly comes to life. The resin-coated paper is 260gsm and is suitable for creating display and exhibition prints. Alternatively, prints can be added to photo albums or portfolio work to create additional impact.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Finished prints should be interleaved and stored carefully to prevent scratching. Fine art ink and print surfaces are more delicate than conventional RC inkjet prints and should be handled with care.
