Document Design for non-Designers is a 14 hour workshop – held over 2 sessions of 7 hours each.
In this day & age, everyone seems to be desktop publishing – media & advertising agencies, schools & hospitals, government departments, small businesses, not-for-profit & community organisations, etc. Unfortunately, though, many people have found themselves in a designer’s role without any formal training and may feel overwhelmed by it all.
In this 2-day course, participants will learn: the fundamentals of good design and how it enhances readability and effectiveness of communication; purpose & visual literacy; document layout, typography and colour; corporate identity & publications. Principles will be practiced through Adobe® InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
