GSTA Urban Landscape Awards T&C
GSTA started back in 2011 with the aim to be the best Urban Landscape Photo Competition in Australia – perhaps the world. We want photographers to open their eyes in their own backyard, rather than have to travel to the ends of the earth to get that amazing landscape.
Eligibility
The competition is open to amateur, professional, beginner or expert photographers.
Employees and the immediate families residing at the same address of the Judges, Promoters, Printers, Suppliers, Providers and agencies associated with the competition are ineligible.
Submission of an entry is evidence of the photographer’s consent to these terms and conditions. Entrants can only enter in their own name.
Qualifying Images
Urban is something relating to, or concerned with, cities, city life or densely populated areas. Urban Landscape photography brings landscape photographers eye and approach to contemporary urban environments – cities, buildings, streetscapes, hardscapes, subways, etc. It represents and expresses scenes and scenarios that exist among these areas and often focuses more on the patterns or processes there, rather than the people.
Additionally, there are one specialist categories within this competition:
- One Person, which will also be judged in the main group.
- Your Urban Landscape must have one person (only one) in the image. The person can’t be the predominant part of the image as it is not portrait competition.
Images must have been taken within the 36 months prior to the closing date for entries.
The image entered must be 100% photographic in origin.
Entrants must be able to supply a copy of the original captures used to create a final image (if requested by the judges).
No titles or marks that may identify the author are permitted on the image itself.
The Golden Shopping Trolley Awards reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these conditions.
