This 5-hour workshop deals with: choosing a subject, printing on various fine-art papers, canvas and other media; generating and using profiles to give you the best results; the concepts of Colour Management and specifically looks at printing Fine Art images for exhibition and competition.

And we will be printing from the latest Epson printer
Participants will be printing their own images on the day, utilizing the latest state-of-the-art printers, media and inksets.
Understanding which standards to utilise in different scenarios
Delving deeper into the soft proofing capabilities of ColorNavigator on your Eizo monitor
– working with contrast ratios
– setting media base colours
Gamut mapping and soft proofing
Analysing your Master file (Working print) for spatial qualities and checking for visual distractions.
Resizing and Output Sharpening strategies
As a bonus, attendees will be given access to the X-Rite Touch Centre for an hour, to write their own printer/media profiles.
Please note:
Session 1 is from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday 1st March.
Session 2 is from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday 8th March.
The cost is for both sessions.
