The Echizen area, where the washi base paper is produced, has a history spanning over 1500 years.

The washi papers are carefully handmade one by one and valued by many artists for their quality and use for reproducing their artwork.

Tesuki-Washi EchiZen 110 medias have a natural flexibility and can create brilliant inkjet prints with a natural handmade texture.

These beautiful papers are further enhanced using ILFORD’s original coating recipe.

A1 + and A3+ (13×19”) sizes have deckle edges on all four sides.

Please Note: Due to the unique coating characteristics of Tesuki-Washi Echizen Pearl (shimmer/sparkle effect) it may be necessary to increase image density 10% to 20% using tone curve adjustments. Further adjustments may also be required for colour matching.
