Today’s sensor technologies mostly use water-repellent coatings to avoid stains. Vdust Plus is an alcohol-based cleaning solution with high volatility, ideal for removing water stains on coated sensors.

Unfortunately, alcohol is not very suitable for removing stains resulting from organic material (heavy lubricants, etc.). For this there is Smear Away – a strong cleaning solution that excellently removes even very annoying residues from organic material.

Since this cleaning solution is based on water, light strips can occur as a result of the hydrophobic coating of the lens. If this is the case, reduce the amount of liquid on the next cleaning stick or simply use Vdust Plus with a new stick to remove the strips.

Since it is often not immediately recognizable what kind of stains it is, it is recommended to start with one of the two liquids first. Once the dirt has disappeared, you can finish the cleaning curtain immediately. Otherwise, the liquid should be changed and the cleaning process should continue. It is essential to use a new cleaning stick. The cleaning fluids must not be mixed. Always swipe in the same direction when cleaning.

Smear Away anti-fog property, highly antistatic, removes grease on the first attempt, special materials prevent scratches on the sensor by cleaning. Best suited to remove oil-based residues (lubricant) and strong dust marks. Non-alcoholic and non-flammable. Best used with VisibleDust MXD-100 Green Series Swabs.

VDust Plus removes oily residues, is very volatile and allows streak-free cleaning in conjunction with DHAP orange and Ultra MXD-100 green Vswab.

Green MXD-100 Vswab patented V-shaped cleaning sticks ensure very good movement possibilities in the chamber, uniform movements and clean the corners efficiently through the shape. They fit all three solutions and the combined synthetic fiber material ensures very good results in the removal of oily greasers. The soft material protects the sensor (most suitable for fluorine-coated sensors) and removes residues streak-free.

Do not add two liquids on the same swab. Use each liquid with a separate swab.
